Who's Christian Bale? For most of the people is an english actor and it's recently known for his acting roles as Batman and John Connor in the latest Terminator Saga. For me, it's my favorite actor.Bale started acting at a young age, he starred in Spielberg's ''Empire of the sun" at the age of 13, and then he just popped in the film industry by appearing in more movies.
His ability of really getting in to a character is what really impressed me when i saw his films. When portraying the serial killer yet successfully Manhattan executive in the film American Psycho, Bale worked out and even tanned to really look like the novel describes character Patrick Bateman with his Olympian physique. In Equilibrium he perfectioned his serious face and even learned karate to master the fight sequences in the film. But one of his major commitments on a film I would say has to be in The Machinist , because he had to loose weight in order to portray the unbalanced character Trevor Reznik to later become Bruce Wayne and get Batman's buff physique by regaining his weight lost and working out.
Christian is a serious actor but his ability of making psychological thrillers more exiting is what makes it more spicy for my taste, adding this little extra on the films. All of the movies i previously said are my favorites ones but not forgetting one of my " Top 10 favorite movies'' The prestige where he shares credits with Hugh Jackman and America's sexiest women : Scarlett Johansson.
He will always be popular remembered by blockbusters films such as Batman, but for me as a person and role model that seriously commits on what he wants without starring on not that popular films but still enjoying what he's doing, making it my favorite actor.
I never really liked Christian Bale, but after reading this, I have to agree: He is a good actor.
